The head office is located in Bonn, Germany. We see the Agribusiness- and Food-Markets as one entire „Food-Value-Chain". The success of our projects is based on our deep knowledge of the Agribusiness and Food-Industry, their principles as well as their rules and legal regulations.

The leading German market study has identified the AFC Consultants International as the „Consulting Champion in the Food Industry".

We advise companies related to the Food-Value-Chain as well as associations and public institutions in the fields of strategy, marketing and organisational concerns. Main clients are also suppliers and service providers to this industry. In our international assignments, we assist German companies with their activities in foreign markets, support foreign companies entering the German market and international organisations accomplishing projects related to agriculture, food and related sectors. National Federation of Food and Drink Industries (FIAB), Spain (industry association)

This institution is the leading professional entrepreneurial organisation for the Spanish food and drink industries. It is of particular interest for this project as they participate frequently in national and international EU projects, with special attention to e-commerce and food safety, with practical experience in transmitting results to entrepreneurs.

  

Deutscher Fruchthandelsverband e.V., Germany (industry association)

The Deutsche Fruchthandelsverband e.V. (DFHV) (German Fruit Trade Association) is the leading national organization of the fruit and vegetable chain and represents interests of companies from all areas of the fruit and vegetable trade sector. The association represents companies from direct marketing, import and export, wholesale trade and retail trade. The member companies realise more than 80% of the turn over of fresh fruits and vegetables in Germany. This industry association is of particular interest for the project as trade with fresh fruits and vegetables across Europe involves particular risks to be faced by trust generating elements in e-commerce.

  

Združenje za ekološko kmetovanje SV Slovenije (Organic Farming Association of North-East Slovenia), Slovenia (industry association)

This association is the leading Slovenian association for organic farming. The main scope of this association is to associate certified organic farmers and farmers in transition, to assist them in marketing and promotion of organic products, and to professionally assist organic farmers and farmers in transition to organic farmers. It is interested ways to improve marketing process efficiency of Slovenian organic products including B2B e-commerce.

  

Centro Servizi Ortofrutticoli (CSO), Italy (industry association)

The Centro Servizi Ortofrutticoli (Service Center for Fruits and Vegetables) is the leading service agency for the Italian fruits and vegetables chain aiming at promoting the competitiveness of the sector. The Centro Servizi Ortofrutticoli is of particular interest for the e-Trust project as on of its focal points is on logistics problems related to e-commerce in the fruits and vegetables chain in Italy including exports to other European countries and chain organization issues. It frequently organises workshops and seminars for its member companies. It has experience in participating in European projects through its partnership in the e-fruitrace project "Internet Traceability in the fruit sector" (IST-2001-35053) funded under the 5th Framework.

  

Thessaloniki Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Greece (industry association)

The Thessaloniki Chamber of Commerce and Industry is the second largest Chamber inGreece in terms of size and its contribution in the development of the country. It is very closely related to the development of the Macedonian region in Greece: the establishment of the Thessaloniki International Fair, the modernisation of Thessaloniki Port Authority and of the Free Zone in it, the foundation of the Merchandise Stock Exchange of Thessaloniki, the operation of a middle Commercial School, the foundation of the Superior Industrial School of Thessaloniki (the current University of Macedonia). It is of particular interest to the project as it has always been promoting the European idea for the Greek economy. Today, it has 20.000 member companies which with their dynamic business presence have ensured 50% of Greek exports.

  

Gmundner Molkerei reg.Gen.m.b.H., Austria (SME)

The Gmundner Molkerei is a dairy kooperative in Upper Austria with ca. 4000 members. It is one of the most important companies in the Austrian dairy production. About 25% of the production are exported. The Gmundner Molkerei is interested in robust ways of using B2Becommerce for their business processes and marketing.

  

Fachverband der Nahrungs- und Genussmittelindustrie (Lebensmittelindustrie), Austria (industry association)

The association of the food industry is part of the Austrian Chamber of Commerce and represents the interests of the Austrian food industry to promote optimal conditions for the Austrian food industry to serve the needs of the markets and to support Austrian food industry to be successful in a global competition.

  

Österreichische Agentur für Gesundheit und Ernährungssicherheit GmbH, Austria

The Austrian Agency for Health and Food Safety is an organization installed by the Austrian Government. AGES has to fulfill a variety of tasks concerning the area of food safety. AGES  does research based on the Austria food and nutrition law, also in the veterinary sector and aims to prevent food related diseases for humans.

  

Apofruit soc. coop. a r.l, Italy (SME)

Apofruit is a cooperative with more than 40 years experience in the field and a direct relationship to 4.000 growers who produce 130.000 tons of fruits and vegetables. It represents a turnover of about 132 million Euros per year. It is specialised in the main Italian fruits and vegetables varieties. Apofruit has 9 production plants and 4 reception and storage centres. One focus lies on organic production and strategic marketing. For this reason, Apofruit has a profound interest in e-business and e-commerce solutions for improved efficiency.

  

Centro Ricerche Produzioni Vegetali, Italy (C.R.P.V.)
